GBPSA Safe Gun Handling & Familiarisation
For those who require safety training to obtain their Section 2 shotgun licence. Also suitable for the novice shooter looking for shotgun safety and awareness guidance for shooting over land.

For those who would like to take part in Practical Shotgun. Can be completed with a Section 2 shotgun (semi-auto or pump action) or a Section 1 shotgun (semi-auto, pump action or box fed). Applicable if your firearms office has advised you that you require safety training before issuing a Section 1 shotgun / Section 1 licence.

For those who would like to take part in Practical MiniRifle. Can be completed with a semi-auto .22LR rifle. Applicable if your firearms office has advised you that you require safety training before issuing a Section 1 rifle / Section 1 licence.

For those who would like to take part in Practical Pistol (LBP) and be ready to hit the competition circuit. Can be completed with a semi-auto .22LR pistol. Due to current firearms law, you will be required to own your own pistol, and to have the use of a suitable holster and mag pouches.

For those who would like to take part in Practical Shotgun (PSG) and be ready to hit the competition circuit. Can be completed with a Section 2 shotgun (semi-auto or pump action) or a Section 1 shotgun (semi-auto, pump action or box fed).
